Terms of Service & Disclaimers
Last updated: August 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website (ampsworkselectric.works) or contacting AmpsWorks Electric ("we," "us," "our") by phone, email, or web form, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
2. No Contractor–Client Relationship From Site Use Alone
Browsing this website, submitting a contact form, or requesting a quote does not by itself create a contractor-client relationship or any binding obligation to perform work. A working relationship, including scope, pricing, and scheduling, is only established once both parties agree to a written or verbally confirmed estimate for a specific job.
3. Not Professional Electrical Advice
Content on this site (including the FAQ) is general information about our services and is not professional electrical, engineering, or code-compliance advice for your specific property or situation. Every property and job is different. Do not attempt electrical work yourself based on anything read here — hire a licensed electrician, and contact your local building/electrical inspection authority for code questions specific to your jurisdiction.
4. Licensing, Safety & Code Compliance
AmpsWorks Electric performs work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) as adopted and amended by the State of Washington, and applicable local jurisdiction requirements. Our technicians follow OSHA workplace safety standards on every job site.
Washington Electrical Contractor License #: [insert WA L&I electrical contractor license number here — required by RCW 19.28.041 to appear on all advertising]
All electrical permits and inspections required by the City of Spokane, Spokane County, or the State of Washington remain the responsibility of the property owner and contractor as required by law; we will advise when a permit is required for your job.
5. Pricing, Quotes & the Emergency Fee
Quotes provided by phone, email, or in person are estimates based on the information available at the time and are not guaranteed final prices — final cost may change once the actual scope of work is confirmed on site. A $150 emergency fee applies to after-hours and emergency service calls, and after-hours labor is billed at our emergency rate; both are disclosed before work begins whenever possible.
6. Online Payments
Where available, online invoice payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. AmpsWorks Electric does not collect, view, or store your full card number or payment credentials — that information is handled entirely by Stripe under its own security and privacy practices. This site is used only to send you to Stripe's secure payment page for a specific invoice; no payment data is held on this website.
7. External Links
This site may link to third-party websites (such as our payment processor or business listings) for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of external sites.
8. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including the AmpsWorks Electric name, logo, emblem, and site design — is the property of AmpsWorks Electric unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, AmpsWorks Electric is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for work performed under a separate signed service agreement, which is governed by the terms of that agreement.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Spokane County, Washington.
11. Accessibility
We want this site to be usable by everyone. It's built with visible keyboard focus states, readable contrast, and semantic structure. If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please let us know at the contact below and we'll work to address it.
